Summary: This is a nice cabin with a fabulous view. Our only problem was finding the cabin. My GPS wasn't accurate. I ended up sending a message to the host who within 5 minutes called me. With his help we were able to find the cabin within 10 minutes.

Summary: I booked this adventure to see and learn about different aspects of U.P. Michigan. I got what i asked for, its pretty well perfectly set between Mackinaw and Escanaba. Plenty of beautiful views and offroading. The cabin was warm, during some chilly days for a Kentuckian who left a state at 80 degrees!

Summary: We had a fantastic time at the Beach Cottage with our dog. The cabin itself was gorgeous and had everything we could have possibly needed. It was cold and somewhat rainy for the weekend, but the pellet stove and space heaters made for a couple cozy nights on the couch. Our dog loved exploring the backyard and beach area, which was more of a marsh given the rain. There was plenty of firewood for a fire if we’d chosen to use the outdoor fire pit. We’d absolutely stay here again the next time we return to the UP!

Summary: This is our second time staying here and again we did not want to leave. For our family of four this place is perfect and Heather is more than gracious as a host. Even checking in with us knowing we needed to travel after the ice storm that had recently come through. We recommend this place and area to everyone! Looking forward to our next stay here!!

Summary: Touring frozen waterfalls was an absolute treat! The private backyard was great for our dogs to play and the adults to relax. The cabin is only a short drive from so many beautiful parks, we couldn’t even fit everything into our short stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you Heather!
